I am truly excited to finally launch this Candle Time website. We are a soy candles brand based in Leiden, Netherlands. All our candles are hand-poured with 100% natural soy wax manufactured in Europe.
The shop, gallery, reviews, some useful information on soy candles – it’s all set up. It took me to learn some new skills to bring this all to existence, so if you have any remarks or suggestions on how to improve visitors’ experience, please feel free to reach out. It is very important to me that you really enjoy being here.
At this moment I’m running this website in English, but as Candle Time is Netherlands based, the Dutch translation will be added soon (I was informed that thanks to some regional settings there will be automatic translation available, adjusted to your browser’s language, but I’m not sure how accurate it can be).

My name is Anna, and I’m the admin of this website. I’m also a candle maker in love with nature and animals – now you can easily guess why I have chosen soy wax and why all our candles are vegan. Almost a year ago I quit my daily job to make Candle Time my full-time job! As you can guess, it was not easy. At first, it took me a while to learn the basics of the profession. Then I spent so much time browsing online, searching for suppliers for wax, fragrances, wicks, containers… It took me many, many weeks of testing before I knew I came to the perfect result. It was absolutely worth it! Our candles are of the highest quality, they’re healthy, biodegradable, and vegan. And they smell heavenly! The customers’ reviews we received so far are the biggest reward I could dream of.
Here I’ll be sharing my knowledge with you.
I’ll be writing a series of useful posts about fragrances and their aromatherapeutic working (see the following post here), about common candle issues, and how to deal with them, I’ll be also sharing some “behind-scenes” videos from candle making process. I’ll be answering your questions too if you’ll have any. There will be also some other extras, so it’s worth to stay tuned.
